LeeAn Forester Train was born May 2nd, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas. She was the fifth child of Lewis and Maureen Forester. Her siblings are Susan Yates, Lewis Forester, Janet Forester and Harry Forester.
She moved to Golden Colorado when she was still a small child, eventually moving to Arvada, Colorado.
LeeAn as a child accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. On April 11th, 1985, she was baptized into the Arvada Covenant Church. LeeAn attended public schools in both Golden and Arvada, Colorado. And graduated from Arvada West High School as a top 10 percent student. As a child she developed a love and passion for music, this gift was handed down to her from her father. She quickly picked up and mastered the guitar and later the violin. She could speak Spanish and had a basic knowledge of both Italian and Latin. Her favorite Latin saying was Semper ubi sub ubi, which means always wear underwear.
LeeAn was married to Michael Dean Train on August 4th, 1979, in Arvada CO. She and her husband have been married for forty-five years. They were blessed with two children, Melissa Train Gray and Michael Lewis Train. Later She was blessed with two grandchildren, Anthony Gray and Kayley Gray. She also has a great granddaughter Harper Lee. Her life will forever be cherished and a blessing to her family. She was also mommy to her sweet puppy Eddie.
LeeAn loved frequent trips to the mountains to practice her photography as she had a unique appreciation for nature and wildlife. However, LeeAn’s favorite place to visit was the Texas and Florida Coast as she would enjoy finding seashells, swimming and eating shrimp with her husband and son.
Lee An also had a passion for painting and other artwork. In particular, she had a unique eye for painting landscapes and making them come to life.
LeeAn loved to serve the Lord, she was active at developing the women’s ministry, as well as managing and coordinating children's care at New Hope Community Church. She also led the church funeral services and retirement community visitations. She also took active part in several other ministry including Thanksgiving food drives, and school supply drives.
LeeAn went to be with the Lord on October 6th, 2024. She is predeceased in the care of the Lord by her father, mother and her beloved brother Harry.
Services for LeeAn will be held at BRAVE Church at 3800 E. Hampden Ave., Englewood, CO 80113 on October 15th. A viewing is schedule for 10 o’clock in the morning with services following at 11 o’clock. Followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall (upstairs) after the funeral service, all at Brave Church, 3800 E Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO 80113.
LeeAn will be placed to rest in San Antonio, Texas at San Fernando Cemetery III, San Antonio, Texas.
