Dennis Wayne Chesser

Family visitation will be 1:30pm to 2:00pm, Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel in Denison, TX.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Rick Ring officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ladonia, Texas.

Dennis was born April, 25th, 1953 in Bonham, Texas. Dennis loved God, family, friends, and his Church. He was a member of Yarnaby Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed playing his banjo or guitar and listening to bluegrass music. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing tug-o-war with his fuzzy buddy Hoot (daddy spoiled him).

Dennis is survived by children: Dennis Chesser Jr., Cara Black (husband Rodney), and Melissa Chesser. sister Pauline Chesser, Seven grandchildren: Tiddarious Battle, Willieasha Ray, Cordale Tarpley, Essence James, William D. Chesser, Dezeray James, and Rodric Black, also four great-grandchildren. Girlfriend Kay Fite and her son Carl Fite.

His most recent job was driving a truck for Hope Concrete in Sherman. Previous employers were Graham Construction in Denison and City of Denison.
