Dear Barbara,
Sam and I were profoundly saddened by Marvin's passing. We have so many wonderful memories shared with you and Marvin. Your many, many kindnesses to us and our children will never be forgotten. Marvin and i exchanged so many phone calls later on, and he always knew my voice and recognized me immediately. Whenever you visited , we always spent happy times with you. The Ross family, especially your mom are thought of with love.  I adored your mom, a you know. Your brothers and their wives were wonderful, always. Brian, Noel, Amy, and Colleen send you love and kind thoughts. May you find comfort from all the many people who love you and loved our dear Marvin. Love  and comfort to Gary and Betsy, Debbie and Gary, and Steve and Angela, and your grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

My Condolence to Barb and the family. Dr Koenig will always be remembered in my heart. I remembered when he wanted lunch from Steak n Shake a burger with the lettuce and tomato on the side. But if someone picked it up and the lettuce and tomato was on the burger he would send that person back to steak and shake to get another sandwich and make sure the lettuce and tomatoes was in a separate wrapping. Those days were fun and full of laughter. I will always be gratefull to Dr Koenig he hired me then Genelle I married Genelle's brother and had 2 of the most beautiful and successful men. I thank God. may Dr Koenig rest in the arms of God.  Love Donna Frazier.

My first memory of Marvin was as one of my counselors in Blueberry Day Camp. I was six years old. We had a great time with him; he was funny, kind, and understanding. When Barbara laid eyes on him she immediately said she was going to marry him. 

Marvin was also my brother Andrew's counselor. Barbara had a plan to accomplish this: our assignment - invite Marvin to lunch. Then we were invited to Marvin's for lunch. Like the scouts  in Canaan, we reported back to Barbara on the lay of the land, giving Marvin and his family a glowing review!

Five years later Barbara and Marvin were married! It was clear that we  were right-on: Marvin was a wonderful husband and family man. He had our mother wrapped around his fingers (not an easy task!) Even Dad loved him!  He was also a great brother-in-law. 

Marvin blended into our family. We all loved and respected him. It was clear that Barbara and Marvin were blessed by a beautiful marriage. We will all miss him.


Dear Aunt Barbara, Stephen, Gary, Deborah and families,

My deepest condolences on your loss. Uncle Marvin was the best. Always happy and smiling. You could see the true love between Marvin and my Mom.

Loved playing golf with him the morning of my wedding, Even though there was a frost delay and it was a bit cold for him, he played and made it a great time.

We are thinking of all of you and keeping you close in our hearts….Our deepest sympathy on your devastating loss. Rest in peace Uncle Marvin. You will be missed by so many.  I loved your dry humor and kindness and gentle ways. I can picture your smile.  We loved your visits and sharing so many special family events. You helped create such  a wonderful family and helped so many people.  Our mom always just  lit up when she could visit with you and was so proud of her brother. Sending love.❤️
