DELCAMBRE- It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria Dean Suire Mouton, age 95, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Gloria Dean was born in Delcambre, Louisiana, to Lydia Dore Suire and Renoudet Suire. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who lived her life with kindness, faith, and love.
Gloria Dean is survived by her daughters, Julie Pritchard (John) and Cindy Dreyer (Johnny); grandchildren Jeanne Zeringue, Johnny Dreyer, Theresa Long, Bonnie Slate, Jay LeBlanc, Luke Dreyer, Jennifer LeBlanc, Alex Pritchard, Austin Pritchard, and Samantha Pritchard; and thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jessie LeBlanc; her son, Kimble LeBlanc; her parents, Renoudet and Lydia Suire; and her siblings, Pervis Suire, Murphy Suire, and Bernice Breaux.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evangeline Funeral Home of Delcambre. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Our Lady of the Lake Church with Deacon Patrick Burke officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum where she will be laid to rest.
Serving as pallbearers are Johnny Dreyer, John Pritchard, Scott Zeringue, John D. Dreyer, Alex Pritchard, Austin Pritchard, Espn Dreyer, and Teddy Slate.
Gloria Dean’s legacy of love, faith, and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have her in their lives.
