DELCAMBRE – Funeral services will be conducted for Brenda Dore Hebert, age 70, at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Evangeline Funeral Home of Delcambre. Fr. Ed Degeyter will officiate. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Delcambre o Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 am until the service time.
A native and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Hebert passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at her residence with her loving husband by her side.
Born on September 28, 1950 to the late Ledier and Louelle Bourque Dore, Brenda was one of six children. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker who took pride in keeping her home and yard looking good. When all of her work was done, Brenda enjoyed being outside and looking at all of the beautiful flowers in her yard. She like to spend her downtime crocheting.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Arcade Hebert, Jr.; sons, David Hebert and Wayne Hebert (Patrice); daughter, Tonya Hebert Crochet; brother, Roland Dore, Sr. (Maria); sister, Wanda Dore Bourgeois (Kenneth); sister-in-law, Dina Dore; and three grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Johnathan Hebert; parents, Ledier and Louella Hebert; and siblings, Michael Dore, Timothy Dore, and Ledroy Dore.
Pallbearers will be members and friends of the family.
Honorary pallbearer will be David Hebert.
