Passed away March 21, 2022 at Tulare Adventist Hospital, Tulare CA. Ronald was born August 31, 1945 in Barstow, California, the son of Victor S. and Eva Espinar Lopez. Educated at Delano High School and Fresno State University. He retired from Delano Mosquito Abatement District. Ronald served with the US Marines during the Viet Nam war. Ronald coached many area youth through the EARLIMART Golden Gloves Boxing Club and they participated in many statewide matches.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Carol O'Neil Lopez, Pixley, CA. He is survived by sons, Roald, Pixley, CA, Ron'l and wife Katia, Delano, CA, and daughter Suomi, of Mesquite, TX. Grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, and Ytzelt. daughter, Jamie Hullenbaugh & husband, George, Pensacola, FL; daughter, Joann Blackburn & husband, David, Dubois, PA; Grandchildren: Lisa, George, Nathan, Samuel, Gretchen, Alaura, Brianna, Karolyn, great grandson, Phoenix, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brothers Danny and wife Johnnie, Lindsay, CA, Sisters Dora, Nevada and brother Victor, California . He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Frank, CA
Ronald loved music, BBQ's, dove hunting, competition shooting and spending time with his family and friends.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Delano Mortuary, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A rosary will occur Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mary's of the Miraculous Medal Parish, 916 Lexington St., Delano, CA 93215. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at North Kern District Cemetery, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.
Serving as pallbearers are Ignacio Lopez, Andy Rhoades, Hector Gastelum, Juan Guzman, Angel Navejar, Cesar Navejar Jr., German Quezada and Nick Lopez.
