Saundra Jean Macdonald (Sandy) passed away peacefully on March 30, 2022. She was born February 11, 1947 in Clovis, NM to Cal Scott Billingsley and Elba Guyn Hancock, and after moving around some to TX and AZ, the family settled back in Clovis, NM where she graduated from Clovis High School. Cal and Guyn also had a son Bradley Scott Billingsley. After Cal passed away, Guyn married Vernon Holt, and they had a son, James Todd Holt. Sandy married Herbert Gale Poe on January 29, 1965 and had 2 children, Chad Scott Poe and Shana Jon Poe. After Herbert was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in 1970, Sandy and the family moved to Moore, OK where she worked for the First National Bank Downtown. She later married the love of her life Ron Macdonald on February 17, 1978, and welcomed his two daughters, Lisa Rae and Kristi Lea into the family.
Sandy and Ron opened a plumbing supply company, Sooner State Supply in 1984 where she was the Office Manager. After Sooner State Supply closed, Sandy went to work as the Secretary for the Oklahoma City Bowling Association until her retirement in 2018. For many years you could find Ron and Sandy in many of the local bowling houses and well as watching University of Oklahoma Football games. Sandy enjoyed spending time with her birthday club ladies as well as her son, daughter, grandchildren and great grandkids.
Sandy is preceded in death by her Father and Mother and Brother, Brad Billingsley. Two Grandchildren, Jeffrey Scott Poe and Duane Gibson and one son-in-law, Dale Croston.
She is survived by husband, Ron of the home; son Chad Poe and his wife Dee of Yukon, OK; daughter Shana Poe of Oklahoma City; brother Todd Holt and his wife Rebecca of Clovis, NM; step-daughter Lisa Croston of Stillwater, OK; step-daughter Kristi Dorsey and her husband Tom of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Jessica and husband Patrick, and Grayson; Niece Brittany and Nephew Dallas; other grandchildren, Aliyah, Savion, Kylin, Matthew, Jared, Ashley and husband Kyle, Amanda, Jade, and Shane; and great-grandchildren, Kingston, Akira, Paisley and Stella. She is also survived by many dear friends and family including Phyllis Williams, Robert & Lylette Macdonald, Peggy Earle, and many more extended family.
Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 S.E. 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.
