Richard L. Pennington, aged 56, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022. He was born April 15th, 1965, in Wilmington, DE to Odell and Linda Pennington. He was a veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm who served in the US Navy from 1984-1996 onboard the USS Seattle and USS Dwight D Eisenhour. Having moved to Oklahoma in 2003 he worked with the 507th Wing at Tinker Air Force Base starting in 2004 and retiring in 2019 due to his health. He is preceded in death by his parents, survived by his sisters, Dianne Hightower, Renee Wallace, both of Midwest City, OK and a brother, William Stephens of Chesapeake VA, nephews, Josh, Colton, Robby, and nieces, Tiffany, Stephanie, Christie, and Heather. Family and friends are invited to Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th St, Del City, Ok 73115 from 4-8 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022. Grave side services will be at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 North Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141 at 2 PM Friday, March 4, 2022.
