Mary Malissia Workman, 87 years old, died on December 16, 2024, at her home in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was born on October 16, 1937, to James Daniel Clark, Jr. and Mary Clark in Augusta, Georgia,
She is survived by her husband, Warner Workman, with whom she shared sixty-three years of marriage, and was a loving mother to her four children: Robert Samuel Hadden, Cheryl Elaine Perry, Warner Joseph Workman (Lana), and Mary Cathleen Rychner (Matt).
She worked as a Nurses Aide for many years in the hospital in Midwest City.
Mary Malissia was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles, chapstick, mystery shows, John Wayne, Perry Mason, Cracker Barrel, and teapots. She loved her home state of Georgia, and visited many times over the years. She is a Christian and was a patriot. She was a devoted member of Soldier Creek Baptist Church and was heavily involved in the children’s ministry for many years.
Mary is survived by three children, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, sister, step brothers, step sister, and grandson Bobby Hadden. Her son, Robert Hadden, died shortly after her passing.
Visitation for Mary will be on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK. Funeral service will be on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Soldier Creek Baptist Church, 9020 SE 15th St, Midwest City, OK. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
Officiating will be Kyle Jernigan.
