Mary Louise Savage was born March 29,1933 in Bodine, Oklahoma, a community at S E 44th and Bryant Ave. in now Del City, Ok. Due to the number of Mary’s in her classes at school she started going by Louise. She attended her school years at the Crooked Oak Schools until she met and married Bill Norfleet in Dec. 1949. In 1950, Louise became a mother and had four children over the years. She entered the workforce as a waitress to help support her family. She later in 1963 met and married the love of her life, Larry Archer. Louise remained working in the food industry as a waitress but decided to go back to school and earned her GED at the age of 39. Louise then went to work for the chain of Dairy Queen stores in the Moore/Norman area. She became a manager, working for many years for Mr. Dunn. She and Larry retired and lived out Hwy 9, Norman, out by Lake Thunderbird for nearly 40 years. After Larry’s death, Louise moved to her daughter, Cherry’s at Blanchard, Ok. She then moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas to live near her daughter, Donna Kay.
Louise was known for being a sweet but a feisty little force, as she was only 5 ft tall at her tallest height. She will be missed by many, she was known as Mom, Momma Louise, Grandma, Nana, Aunt Louise.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, John K. & Velma (Thomas) Savage; sisters, Shirley Neher (Donald), Carol Sue Brooks (Jerry); children, Patricia Norfleet, Billy Ray Norfleet and Cherry Bina.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Camplain (Bill) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; grandchildren, of Arkansas- Bill Camplain Jr (Tonya) and Brent Camplain (Ashley); of Oklahoma- Tracy Bina Barnhill (Greg), John Bina (Samantha), Bradley Collins, Jimmy Ray Gallimore, and Christina Norfleet Thompson; great-grandchildren, Wil Camplain, Sara Camplain, Brenley Camplain, Alex Bina and Sophia Bina.
Louise will be buried alongside Larry at the Sunny Lane Cemetery at 4000 S E 29th St., Del City, Oklahoma 73115

A graveside service for Mary will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115.
