Kenneth Dale Sheppard

Kenneth Dale Sheppard peacefully passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022. Kenneth was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on September 28, 1935. After high school and working at OPUBCO, Kenneth joined the US Navy and served during the Korean War (1953 -1957).  He served in the South Pacific on the carrier USS Oriskany and the LSD USS Point Defiance.  After the war he returned to OPUBCO where he retired 45 years later.

He is preceded in death by parents Chester and Jewel Sheppard, brother C.L. Sheppard, sister Rilda Null and wives Sue Sheppard and Pat Sheppard. He is survived by sister Sue Baker, brother Kermit Sheppard, 4 children, Wade and Nakita Sheppard, Kenny and Anne Marie Sheppard, Tara and Richard Turman, and Jennifer Sheppard, and by 4 step children Debbie and Bob Sheppard, Sheila and Bill Cahlik, Michael and Cindy Sheppard, and Penny Lowry, 26 grandchildren and numerous great grands.
