John Stephenson, 88, of Del City, passed away March 28, 2019 in Norman. He was born February 21, 1931 in Newcastle, Pennsylvania. John had lived in Del City since, 1967 after being stationed at Lawton. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Gunner on a C-130 during the Vietnam War, retiring after 20 years of faithful service. John enjoyed working in his yard and doing mechanic work. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl and son Skip. John is survived by a special daughter, Chalour Morris and friend Martha Pratt, both of Del City.
