Jerry Wayne Willis was born October 31, 1942, to Jewell Thelma (Haney) Willis in Blaine, Michigan. He attended Capitol Hill High School class of 1962 in Oklahoma City. Jerry joined the United States Air Force in 1961 and served till 1981. Jerry retired from the USAF after a 20 year career. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam and earned numerous medals and awards.
Jerry married Penelope (Penny) Willis on October 20th, 1998. Jerry loved spending time with family. Jerry was predeceased by his wife of 24 years Penny Willis, son, David Willis, parents Hoyt and Jewell Arnold, sister Bonnie Eskew, brother in law John Eskew, brother Charles Willis, nephew-in-law Kenny Hudson, nephew Robert Housley, and countless other loved ones. Jerry leaves behind a son Matthew Willis, sister-in-law Clara Willis, niece Kerrie Hudson, niece Carolyn (Robert) Banos, nephew Phillip Eskew , niece-in-law Loujohnia Housley-Paskoff, nephews Kody Hudson, Kole Hudson, Tyler Hudson, Asher Turk, Walker Turk, nieces Abbigail Key, Sarah (Austin) Turk, Alyssa Housley, Paige Hudson, Logann Turk.
Jerry was laid to rest on January 30th, 2024, at 2:00pm at Sunnylane Cemetery 4000 SE 29th, Del City, OK 73115.
