James Pete Williams

James “Pete” Williams was born on January 9, 1958, In Oklahoma City to Paul C. Williams and Maurine Williams. He was the youngest of four boys and preceded in death by our Father Paul SR. November 1969. Our older brother Paul JR. May 2016 and our next to oldest brother Frank who recently passed December 2021. He is survived by his mother Maurine and brother Roy.

He completed his high school at Capitol Hill High school in 1970 and later attended Oklahoma City Community College and received his associate degree in computer science. He worked at numerous jobs throughout his career but never found his true passion in his employment opportunities except in gardening. He loved to work in the yard planting trees and flowers. He took pride in decorating his yard with an assortment of flower vases, flat stones and building water fountains.

Although He never married and lived primarily with our mom throughout his lifetime, His other love beside his mother was for his pets, He loved his dogs, “snowball” and most recently “Puppy”. He took better care of his dogs at times than himself. He was courageous in his fight with his illness, and was positive in his outlook for overcoming his countless setbacks but ultimately and quietly succumbed to this dreaded disease. No longer suffering and with our father and brothers may he rest in peace.

An inurnment for James will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.
