Henry "Buck" Clay Jones, Jr.

He was born on December 3, 1948, to Henry and Helen Jones in Lawton, OK.

Henry took classes at Rose State College and served in the US Navy as GMG3 during Vietnam from 1968 to 1972.

He married Helen Atkinson on August 14, 1998 and between them they have four children: Jeff Jones of Oklahoma City, Allen Jones (Christine) of Melissa, TX, Robert McCutcheon (Janet) of Oklahoma City, and Stephanie Goodwin (Jimmy) of Guthrie, OK.

He worked as a fuel control specialist and retired from Department of Defense at Tinker AFB after 29 years of service.

He was an avid car guy who loved classic cars. His favorite was the 1956 Chevy Bel-Air Convertible and the 1956 Chevy Cameo Pickup.

Henry is survived by his wife: Helen, children: Jeff, Allen, Robert, and Stephanie. There are fourteen grandchildren: Ashley, Miranda, Christopher, Reagan, Gabi, Megan, Caden, Kaelan, Fallyn, Aiidan, Maytlynne, Gavyn, Landon and Abbey.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Helen Jones, siblings: Ladell Rutledge, Burney Rutherford, Robert Rutherford, and Donald Jones, grandson: Hunter Goodwin, and great grandson: Nicholas Jones.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 14, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in Del City.

Funeral Services will be Friday, November 15, at Soldier Creek Baptist Church in Midwest City with Pastor Kyle Jernigan officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City.

Pallbearers will be: Charlie Atkinson, Jimmy Goodwin, Aiidan Goodwin, Gavyn Goodwin, Colin Schoonover, Landon Hodges, Wes Rutledge, and Darren Thompson.

Memorials or donations may be made to Soldier Creek Baptist Church.

A visitation for Buck will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Soldier Creek Baptist Church, 9020 SE 15th St, Midwest City, OK 73130. A committal will occur Friday, November 15, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115.
