Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Summers

Gerald Wayne ("Jerry") Summers, 61 years of age, of Oklahoma City, passed away after a long battle with cancer on April 12, 2015. He was born July 21, 1953 to Gerald and Peggy Summers in Oklahoma City, OK. He married Susan Marie Weisbruch in August 1974. Susan preceded Jerry in death on July 2, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Cecil and Gertrude Summers and Jack and Lester Roark; his mother-in-law, Kathleen Wampler; and one sister-in-law, Karen Rehrig. Jerry is survived by his parents Gerald and Peggy Summers of Del City, OK; sister, Janet Gilliam and husband Milton of Oklahoma City; niece, Lauren Gilliam of Del City; three brothers-in-law, Jim Weisbruch and wife Lea Ann of Dallas, TX; Doug Weisbruch and Mona Louden of Oklahoma City; John Weisbruch and wife Debbie of Oklahoma City; nephews, Jimmy Weisbruch and wife Andrea; Joe Weisbruch and wife Stephanie of Dallas, TX; Michael Rehrig and Matthew Rehrig of Oklahoma City.

Jerry worked in manufacturing throughout his career before starting his own business, Specialty Component Manufacturing, where he was a machinist.

Family will be receiving visitors at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 S. E. 29th Street, Del City, OK from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Graveside services for Jerry will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 104th and South Western, Oklahoma City, OK at 10:00 a.m., Thursday April 16, 2015.
