I am being reunited with my precious Mother in my Heavenly Father's presence.
Dixie was born to Lewis Paul Turner and Gwendolyn Ruby Turner Hill. She graduated from Capitol Hill high school in 1956. After graduation she enlisted into the USAF and served with pride until she met her husband, Aladino Cassar. They had two sons: Anthoney Allan and Terrence Lee Cassar.
She is predeceased by her father Lewis Turner, her mother Gwendolyn Hill, and her stepfather Eugene E. Hill.
She is survived by her 2 sons, 5 grandchildren, and a great grandson.
her sister, Merry Lou McCalip and two brothers Lewis Paul Turner and Michael Ray Turner.
Dixie worked for the Government as a civil service employee for 36 years as a switchboard operator. She retired on January 1st, 2007. She worked as a volunteer at Midwest Regional Medical Center for the next ten years.
Dixie was a member of St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church.
Where she volunteered countless hours serving a long side her family in Christ.

Burial will be at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
