Debra Ruth Taylor passed away on November 9, 2022 in Midwest City, OK. She was born on July 23, 1955 in Purcell, OK to Joe H. Shaddix and Ruth Telford Shaddix. She was raised in Midwest City, and had three siblings, Lana Rhoade, Joe H. Shaddix II, and Scott Shaddix. She was blessed with one son, Floyd Richardson Jr., and later blessed with four grandchildren. She married the love of her life, Jeff Taylor, on October 9, 1999, and became a mother to Justin Taylor, Candice Story, and Camille Roddy.
She had a variety of different jobs, working at the Classifieds section of the Midwest City Journal, at OPUBCO, at the Safeway bakery, and at Jackie Cooper transport as a car inspector. Her most important job was taking care of her family.
Debbie had a great love for all animals, and she loved to read People magazine. She always sang Happy Birthday like Marilyn Monroe. She was a very insightful and sensitive person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ruth; and brother, Joe Shaddix II.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Taylor, four children, their spouses, 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
