Christine Dawn Ingersoll McCormick, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2024, in Del City, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 from a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on June 27, 1963, in San Jose California, Chris lived a life filled with love, faith, and a passion for family, creativity and of course her Pink Zebra passion.
Chris expressed her creativity through crafting, creating beautiful photo albums, and selling her Pink Zebra at events, parties or on the fly. Chris’s artistic touch was a reflection of her vibrant personality and love for beauty.
Chris was a devoted and loving matriarch who cherished her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, warmth, laughter, infectious smile and humor that will be forever remembered by those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Richard; her children, Charles (Tracie) McCormick and Michael McCormick; her grandchildren, Ethan Selanders, Kassie Selanders, Myshae Selanders and Karsen Lee and her great-grandchild, Kooper Smith; her mother Judith Bahrs Ingersoll; Brothers Glenn (Emma) Ingersoll and Robert Ingersoll all of Racine Wisconsin. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Chris was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Ingersoll and daughter Stephanie Ingersoll.
Chris will be remembered as a sweet and kind woman who never met a stranger and collected additional family members and friends in the journey of her life, loved by her many friends, and family members. Her smile and laughter would light up any room and will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Her final wish was to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2025 in Del City, Oklahoma.
