Cherry was especially fond of the C130, she told everyone that it was the best sleep she ever had, in a hammock listening to the engines purr.
Cherry grew up and settled in Moore for many years, and then Mother Nature had other plans. After the May 13th 2012 tornado that devastated Moore and took Cherry’s home she settled in Blanchard. She built her forever dream home and made her mark in the neighborhood and the City of Blanchard. Cherry is well known in the City of Blanchard, as she was the plant and flower lady at ACE Hardware. She spent many of days making sure the flowers and plants were at their best for her customers.
Cherry loved to travel with her sister and also with many other friends on many road trips. Cherry also loved working in her own yard and gardens. Her love of flowers and pride of her yard was admired by many within her neighborhood. Neighbors consulted her a lot about which plants and flowers would grow best. Cherry helped her neighbors when they would leave for vacations by mowing and watering their yards, plants and even pet sat for a few. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Cherry leaves behind her two children, Tracy Barnhill (Greg) and John Bina (Samantha) and her only grandchild, Alex.
