Charlene V. Johnson

Charlene V. Johnson, age 77 passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. Charlene was born on June 3, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Emery and Darina Lawler. She had five siblings growing up. Charlene worked at a hardware store as a cashier which she enjoyed. She was a very spiritual person, and would always be reading her bible.

Charlene is preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Darina Lawler; husband, John Johnson Sr.; son David Johnson; four siblings, Charlie Lawler, Alfred Lawler, Sherry Pierce, and Evelyn Hale; grandson Alex Wayne Johnson; and great-grandson Alex Wayne Johnson Jr.

She is survived by four children, John Johnson Jr. (wife Kelley), Steve Johnson (wife Kami), Emery Johnson (wife Renee), and Michael Johnson (wife Tracey); daughter-in-law Tamara Johnson; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A visitation for Charlene will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A graveside service will occur Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Worley Cemetery, 6205-7499 S. Post. Rd., Oklahoma City, OK 73150.
