He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1996, with a host of friends that he enjoyed spending time with and cared for dearly. Billy was an accomplished road construction worker and dedicated much of his time to his profession. Some of Billy's' favorite past-times were fishing, OU Football games, going to the lake, spending time with his family and friends, and he loved taking care of his animals, Joey, Sadie and Mia.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Royce and Lanetta Phillips. Survivors include his mother, Sandy Austin; sister, Lindy Husband and husband Scott; brother, Rodney Hickey; nephew, Gabriel Husband; aunts, Edna and Karen; uncle, Eddie; cousins, Melissa, Jaylynn, Dustin and wife Shannon, Avery. Billy was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.
The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Sunnylane Family Church. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
