Betty Jean Staton Lancaster, 84, died peacefully and went to be with her Savior on February 7, 2022 at her home in Nicoma Park OK under the care of Phoenix Home Care and Dr. Steven Ditto. She was born December 7, 1937 in Lake View TX and was raised in the Valliant OK area, the daughter of Edward Lee Brannan and Ella Magdaline Brannan. Following graduation from Valliant High, Class of 1955, Betty received a scholarship to and graduated from Draughon School of Business in Oklahoma City. She worked at OG&E Power Company before moving to Tucson AZ in 1966 where she raised her family and then later worked in daycare before moving back to Oklahoma in 2013. She loved attending church and serving, reading, doing Bible studies, listening to music and watching the Oklahoma Thunder. Her greatest joy was being with family and being a Mom and Grandma. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Bradley Lancaster (Divine) and her siblings, Myrtie Lee, Otto George, Billy R, Bonnie Fay. She is survived by her daughters Jeanne Staton of Nicoma Park OK, Donna (Scott) Rezer of Tucson AZ, Elaine (Larry) Bates of Glendale AZ, and son Ray (Laura) Lancaster of Tucson AZ, along with 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is loved and greatly missed by all.
