Kevin was born on January 5, 1967 and was raised in Attleboro and Dennis, MA by his predeceased parents, Paul J. McBrien, Sr. and Joan McEleney McBrien.
Kevin graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School in 1985 then went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps both active duty and Reserves, honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1993. He also attended Cape Cod Community College during his service. After living in Boston for two years, he moved to Southeast Florida in 1992, where he owned and operated a number of service companies including 4 C’s Dryer Vent Cleaning.
A big jolly fellow who never met a stranger, Kevin was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed and brought positive energy and laughter to life. He loved boating on Lake Boca and socializing with his many friends and likewise loved coming back to the Cape to visit the cooler Cape waters with his northern family and friends.
Kevin’s greatest source of joy, pride, and devotion was his beloved and gifted daughter, Fallon, whom he cherished beyond measure and bounds. Throughout innumerable circumstances along life’s everyday moments, Kevin prioritized Fallon’s dreams, goals, and schedules to support her in any way he could. These choices were an extension of his love, above anything for his own, as a commitment to their relationship and to her focused future plans embarking her toward adulthood. It truly was Kevin’s greatest mission and success in this world to parent, guide, and be a father to Fallon.
Kevin is survived by his daughter Fallon H. McBrien of Coral Springs and Boston and his siblings Donna M. McBrien of Plympton, Maureen F. McBrien of Dennis, Deborah A. Waithe and her husband Lawrence of Plymouth, Michael D. McBrien and wife Jeanne of Bremen, ME and Lynn McBrien and husband Juan Carlos Barreda of Lima, Peru and Dennis. Also surviving is his sister-in-law Katie Donohue McBrien and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His brother, Paul J. McBrien Jr predeceased him.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the care and effort by the teams at the Jackson Memorial Hospital DTC ICU and Miami Transplant Institute.
