Kathleen Ann Bragg

Kathleen Ann (Maggi) Bragg, age 73, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Kathy was born June 20, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Shirley Maggi and moved to Deerfield Beach, Florida in 1959 with her family when she was 10 years old. She spent the rest of her life living in Broward and Palm Beach counties. During her career, she worked for several different companies in the publishing industry including Realtron and Auto Trader as an Office Manager. In her last job, she served as a Senior Registration Associate with NCS Regulatory Compliance in Delray Beach, FL. She retired from the position in February of 2017.

Kathy was currently attending Christ Fellowship in Boynton Beach, FL She was saved and baptized while attending the First Church of the Nazarene in Pompano Beach, FL in the 1980’s. She rededicated her life to Christ through baptism at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale FL 25 years ago. Since that time, she devoted her life to spreading God’s love to everyone she knew and growing her relationship with Jesus.

Kathy was a shining light to everyone who knew her. She always had time to lend an ear and help to anyone in need. Our families and friends will always remember her as a fierce competitor whether playing cards or Word with Friends. She loved the family campouts with her daughter Lisa, mother, siblings, nieces and nephews and friends. She also loved to cook, you knew you were loved when she made her famous chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles for you. Her hobbies included making beautiful Ukrainian eggs with her sisters, nieces, and nephews, crocheting, reading fiction novels and scrapbooking.

Kathy is survived by her 5 siblings. Arthur Joseph Maggi (Marlene), Bernard John Maggi (Kathleen), James Allen Maggi (Kathleen), Patricia Marie (Maggi) Leach (Richard), and Suzanne Lynn (Maggi) DeBaugh (William); her stepson Wayne Thomas Bragg (Cindy); and her two granddaughters, Emily Ann Bragg and Rachel Nicole Bragg; her nieces and nephews Theresa, Arthur II, Stephanie, Bernard ll, Stephen, Joshua, James ll, Molly, Holly, Rachel, Evan, Rebekah, Michael, David, Sarah, and Christopher; and her great-nieces and nephews Zelda, Zack, Nikolas, Olivia, Sean, Ryleigh, Lily, James, Ryan, Bree, Bo, Madison, Silas, Emerson, Corbin, and Colton;

Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Lisa Ann Bragg, her parents Joseph Bernard Maggi and Shirley Marie Spanka Maggi, brother Stephen Anthony Maggi, and sister Mary Louise Maggi.

Visitation for Kathleen will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a church service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 217 E Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441. A committal service will occur Friday, December 17, 2021 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at City of Deerfield Beach Cemetery, 222 NE 2nd Avenue, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441.
