Marie Ferraro, age 88, of Riverhead, New York passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021. She loved life, her family and her pets. She devoted much of her time with care and compassion by volunteering at the Animal Humane Society, advocating for animals and finding homes for countless dogs and cats.
Marie is predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick. She is survived by her loving children Jeanne Ferraro, Patricia Cozzitorto (the late Sal) and Michele Latona (Anthony). Cherished Grammy to Anthony, Michael (Amanda), Christopher (Katie), Raquel (Nicolas) and Sal Jr. (Bianca). Devoted Great-Grammy to Michael, Alexander, Brandon and Ava. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her sister Kathleen Katz and her brother Anthony Leo.
A visitation for Marie will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Claude R. Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, New York 11729. A mass of christian burial will occur at 11:45 AM at St. Matthew RC Church, 35 N Service Rd, Dix Hills, New York 11746. Entombment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Garden Mausoleums, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11739.
