Violet Beatrice Hill, 80, of Limestone County, Alabama, passed away on March 14, 2018. Her visitation will be on Saturday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Her Celebration of Life will begin at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, with Pastor Mike Calahan officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her daughter Julie Griffin(John), sons Charles Baggett and Jerry Baggett(Becky), daughters Pat Hudson(Steve), Louise Thompson(David), and Charlotte Harris. 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and sister Elsie Pitts.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Baggett, and son Johnny Caldwell.
Mrs. Hill loved gardening, flowers, and loved being around her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a strong, Godly, loving, and caring woman. She volunteered for the Salvation Army for over 35 years and was a member of the Salvation Army church. She loved animals, fishing, and being outdoors. She loved life and lived it the the fullest.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army in her memory.
