Steven is survived by his mother, Joyce Watkins (Philip), and his sister, Leslie Paige Bastin (Steve Schuster).
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Key, his paternal grandparents Berl and Mabel Key, his maternal grandparents, Virgil Dearman and Katie White and his uncle, Ray Dearman
Steve was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama. He graduated from Austin High School and stayed in contact with many of his Classmates. He attended classes at Calhoun Community College. He had a love of Music and loved playing his guitars. He loved watching Alabama Football games.
Steve loved his family, but most of all he loved his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 12:00 - 1:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will be immediately following at Roselawn Cemetery. Pastors Don Kakavecos and Dave Massa to officiate.
