Shelby Jean Hill, age 72, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2019. She was a native of Decatur, Alabama. Visitation will be on Friday May 24, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home followed by her funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Proceeding her in death were her parents, John Henry and Kathleen Cora Terry; and her sister, Dorothy Rutherford.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her daughters, Nathiea Bomar and Audrey Alemar (Genia); her son-in-laws, David Bomar and Carlos Alemar; three grandchildren, Amanda Thurman, Sarah Holt and Calvin Alemar; two great grandchildren, Jacob Thurman and Austin Thurman.
Shelby had a passion for baking, sewing, shopping and hosting family events. She was a free spirit who loved to sing, dance and live life to its fullest. She gave to others even if she honestly had nothing to give. She was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and to many of us a best friend. Shelby will be missed by many but never forgotten.
