Jane Francis Miller was born on April 28th 1941 in Lawrence County to John Henry and Katheline Terry. She was the second sister of four girls; Dorothy, Gwen, & Shelby. She lived 82 glorious years before she gained her wings on October 16th, 2023 in her home in Decatur al,
In 1956 Jane met a striking young man named Butch Miller. They became inseparable and later married on April 2nd, 1958 and had four children: Rita, Bobby, Johnny, & Lisa;
Eight Grandchildren: Dana, Nathan, Leigh ann, Shana, John, Nick, Jeremy, Tyler.
Nineteen Great Grandchildren: Cheyanne, Deion, Quinton, Brianna, Brian, Hailey, Alyssa, Morgan, Preston, Kensleigh, Mason, Miyah, Johanna, Shailey, Butch, Landon, Haedynn, Krimson, Charlotte.
Two Great, Great Grandchildren: Presley & Ashton.
Jane was the rock of the family and was adored by all who came across her. She kept everyone on the straight and narrow, rather it been lining everyone up for church, praying, talking, gossiping, or helping out with recipes – she had it all and seemed to know all the right answers. She was the person to talk to or go to for any and everything under the sun, with a scripture to end or begin every conversation. Jane was so proud of her family because family was all she needed. She met no stranger and would talk to anyone like she had known them forever and wasn’t afraid to chime in a word or two of God with them. Her love for flowers was apparent, with a green thumb that could turn any dull plant into a beautiful vine of flowers – she knew all the tricks to keep them living and looking brighter than ever. Her yard was always the talk of the neighborhood, because she kept such a beautiful scenery of flowers. She had such wonderful stories to tell, stories that could have made some great published books. Jane will surely be missed by so many loved ones but now she is dancing in the sky with her husband and children again. She has always talked about this day and how glorious it will be. So smile and look up because she is smiling and looking down amongst us all.
