Younghee Lee (b. March 31, 1945) died peacefully on October 1, 2021 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Chulwon, Korea to the late Soon Nam Park and Kyoung Ae Paik. She grew up in Inchon, Korea and went on to earn a diploma in nursing from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea.
She is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Dong Eun Lee, a son and daughter in law, John Hans Lee and Audrey Chun of New York, and a daughter,Anne Choe, of New Jersey. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Theodore Lee, Granger Choe and Sarina Choe, and 5 siblings primarily residing in New Jersey.
She was a devoted member of Dayton Korean United Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering at Kettering Memorial Hospital.
Family members wish to thank the many health care providers and friends who have cared for Younghee Lee during her illnesses.
A funeral service will be conducted in New Jersey, to be laid to rest closer to her family and next to her parents.
