Shelby Lynn Lovelace

Lovelace, Shelby Lynn, age 21 of Miamisburg, passed away suddenly on July 7, 2016, due to a blood clot to her heart. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents John F. and Hazel F. Byrd, paternal great-grandparents Carl E. and Grace B. Times and Aileen Martin, paternal grand parents Anthony O. and Robin K. Lovelace, and uncle Eric L. Lovelace. Shelby is lovingly survived by her parents Jon A. and Jackie L. Lovelace, grandparents Jack F. and Sharon K. Byrd and Angela Lovelace, aunts Renee (Scott) Byrd, Chris (Jennifer) Lovelace, cousins Cody, Jack, and Brookie Smith, Chelsea Lovelace, and Chelsea Dunlevy. Shelby was so blessed to be loved by her sweetheart, Zachary Lederman, and numerous special friends whom Shelby cherished so dearly. Shelby adored her dogs, Ginger, Phoebe, and Zoe. Shelby was a 2012 graduate of Middletown Christian School and was currently attending Sinclair Community College, pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy with a desire to work with children with disabilities. Shelby was a passionate Christian and a member of The Ark Church in Miamisburg. Shelby loved music, concerts, movies, and talking and laughing with family and friends. Most importantly, Shelby was a happy, loving, generous young lady who touched our souls. Visitation services will be held Wednesday, July 13, from 5 to 8 PM, at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 14, at 11 AM at Tobias with procession to Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg. Pastor Dale R. Campbell will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Middletown Christian School for a scholarship in Shelby's honor. Special thanks to the ER and ICU doctors and staff of Sycamore Hospital for their compassionate care and emotional support, and Nurse Debra who never ceased praying for us. Our family will never forget what you did for us.
