BALONIER, Ruth Ann (Curry), age 83 of Miami Township, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Wood Glen Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on October 23, 1928 in Mason, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Ann Cooper Curry. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harry E. Balonier on December 17, 2010; her son, David E. Balonier; and her brother William (Bill) Curry. She is survived by her; two daughters, Kathy Ann Couch of Dayton and Gena Lee Blankenship of Springboro; her son, Robert E. Balonier (Connie) of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Kimberly Bikenki (Wes) of Florida, John Couch of Portsmouth, Ohio, Allen Balonier (Natalia) of Tucson, AZ & Michael Balonier of El Paso, Texas, and Dalton & Beth Ann Blankenship of Springboro; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Henry Curry & wife Jody of North Carolina; and a sister, Linda Grierson & husband Walter (Ronnie) of Miami Township. Ruth Ann was a graduate of Jefferson Township High School. Her and Harry enjoyed traveling in their motor home all over the country. She was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Monday, October 24, 2011 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd., with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor John Mittermaier officiating. Interment Bear Creek Cemetery.
