Ruby Kinney

Kinney, Ruby, age 83 of Dayton peacefully passed away on March 16, 2019 with her family by her side. Born in Winder, Georgia to the late Herman and Annie Lou Lyle. She was preceded in death by her second mother who raised her from birth, Rosa Lee Smith; her husband Cecil Kinney Jr.; and siblings Harold Collins and Emma Lou Jones.

Ruby is survived by her twin sister Ruth Reddish; brother Johnny Hill; daughters: Pamela Powell (Darrell), Vanessa Gales, Judith Lowell (Osmund), and Angela Harris (Shelia); son Anthony Kinney; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; nieces and honorary flower girls Tammy and Malissa Kinney of GA, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. with Reverend Carlton Hill officiating. Friends and family may visit from 11 am Thursday until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
