RISLEY, Ross T., age 95 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at his residence. Ross was born on February 1, 1920 in Dayton to the late Victor B. and Alma H. Feverston Risley. He was a graduate of Stivers High School and served in the Army Air Corp during WW II. He worked as a purchasing agent for Duriron for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #675, where he served on the Honor Guard, and was a past Commander and President. He was also instrumental in starting the Wee Elks of Centerville. “Go Reds” He was preceded in death by his son, David Risley, brother, Robert L. Risley; and a sister, Betty Cross. He is survived by his wife, of 27 years, Donna Weng Risley; children, Jim Cornick, Cheryl Barnett, and Richard (Karen) Cornick; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Nicholas, Gene (Trang), Russell (Allison), Dawn (Michael), Ronnie, and Michelle (Matt); three great grandchildren, Blake, Rowen, and Lincoln; and numerous friends and neighbors.
