Ron attended Olivet Nazarene University where he received his ministries license. He married the love of his life, Elsie Killin, on August 2, 1952, and together they embarked on a journey of pastoring several churches over the years before retiring at the age of 82.
He enjoyed watching sports, especially basketball and football. He also loved playing golf. He was a very hard worker. He started working for his father’s business at the age of 14. He ran his own bicycle shop in Waterloo, OH at the age of seven. He took over a shed on his father’s property and with one spare bicycle tire and a chain he started to repair bicycles. He was a loyal friend, a loving husband, and a devoted father.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Elsie Justice of Xenia, OH and his five children: Rick (Kelly) Justice of South Charleston, WV; Jim (Brenda) Justice of Beavercreek, OH; Cindy (Melvin) Ware of Parkersburg, WV; Sherri (J.D.) Allen of Brownsville, IN and Tim (Lacy) Justice of Wentzville, MO. Eighteen grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two brothers: Randy Justice of Duluth, GA and Mike Justice of Lancaster, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Enola Wymer and a granddaughter, Jamie Ware.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Parkview Church of the Nazarene in Kettering, OH with the Rev. Ron Reynolds and Pastor Jake Metcalf. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday, May 23 from 10:00 to 11:30am, with service to follow at 11:30am.
