Robert W. Hostler

HOSTLER, Robert W. “Bob” age 71 of Dayton passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 19, 2013. Bob graduated from Marshall University and received his graduate degree from Central Michigan University. Bob worked at WPAFB for 39 years, was an avid gardener, and a big supporter of UD athletics. He was a member of Montgomery County Master Gardeners, The Flyers Club, and Duffers Golf League. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Charlotte (Massie) Hostler. He is survived by his loving wife Jane (Griffin) Hostler; brother Roger Hostler; son Robert Jr., daughter-in-law Monica (Bickley) Hostler, their children Chase, Mason, Grant, and Mandy, Son Steve, daughter-in-law Amy (Caro) Rodenroth, their children Natalie, Emily, and Sydney, Daughter Ann (Rodenroth), son-in-law Eric Lundgren, their children Max, Ty, Audrey, and Charlotte. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 5 to 7 PM, followed by a funeral service, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd.
