Robert D. Harrold

Harrold, Robert (Bob) Dale age 92, of Centerville, Ohio died August 31, 2014. Bob was born October 1, 1921 in Wooster, Ohio and later graduated from Wooster High School in 1940. He then joined the Army Air Corps serving in Alaska from 1942-1945. After his discharge he attended Ohio State University in 1945 and 1946. He then graduated in 1947 from the Cleveland Engineering Institute and Acme School of Tool and Die Design in 1949. Bob was employed by General Tool and Design for 25 years and later retired from F & G Multislide Tool and Design after 25 years. He was a lifetime member of Kettering Kiwanis and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Kettering, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his brother James (Jim) Harrold. Survivors include his wife of 66 years Peggy Ann (Blosser) Harrold; daughter, Karen (Frank) Fahrer; son, Scott (Donna) Harrold; granddaughters, Nicole (Mark) Iiames, Amanda (Nathan) Strimpel, Chelsie Harrold and Keith Bond, Shelby (Ryan) Gray, Morgan (Johnny) Ortez; great granddaughters, Elizabeth Iiames, Ella Strimpel, Louella Bond, Charlotte Gray, Peyton Ortez, and Presleigh Ortez. Funeral Services 11 am Thursday September 4, 2014 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. Pastor Robert Ashburn officiating. Entombment Heritage Hills Mausoleum.
