Richard D. Weglage Sr.

WEGLAGE, Richard D. Sr., age 81 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna Weglage; 4 brothers, Donald K. Weglage, David Weglage, Charles Weglage and William Weglage and sister, Ruth Alice Shook. Richard is survived by his wife of 61 years, Vesta Weglage; sons, Richard D. Weglage, Jr. and wife Karla of Brookville, Mark P. Weglage and wife Terri of Riverside, Donald C. Weglage and wife Chantell of Beavercreek; daughter, Rebecca L. and husband Robert Hegstrom of Woodbridge, VA; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Esther Weglage of Englewood and Polly Weglage of Pensacola, FL; special niece, Dianne Trottier; nephew, Donald (Bud) Shook and numerous other nieces and nephews. Richard was a long time employee at Gem City Ice-cream. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 27, 2012 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall. Interment Woodland Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the funeral home.
