Grote, Richard M. age 75 of Kettering passed away Thursday July 28, 2011 at Kettering Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Helen Grote; sister, Harriet Ann Grote; granddaughter, Kristen Alexandra Grote. Survivors include his wife, Donna; Children and Spouse; Michele Smock (Jim), Paul Grote (Laurie), Doug Grote (Dianna); Grandchildren, Nathaniel, Sierra, Cheyenne, Marin, Lydia, Dayton, and Declan; Great Grandchildren, Haley, Jonalin, Rylin; Siblings; Freeman (Patsy) Grote, Marguerite (Frank) Primovic, Bernadette (Jerry) Schultz and many more nephews, nieces, and extended family. Dick retired from GM as an electrician. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of First Baptist Church Kettering. Funeral Service 11am Tuesday August 2, 2011 at First Baptist Church Kettering 3939 Swigart Rd Dayton, Ohio 45440. Rev. Doug Grote officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Monday and 10 -11 am Tuesday at the church. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Kettering Building Fund.
