Phyllis Mae Jenkins

Phyllis Mae Jenkins, age 87, of Dayton passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023. She was born and raised in Salyersville, KY to the late South and Versa Howard. Phyllis is also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Buell Jenkins Jr., sons Greg and Doug Jenkins, brothers Marcus Howard and Marvin Howard, brothers-in-law Jolly, Gerald, Kenneth, Basil, and Paul, and sisters-in-law Day and Bobby. She is survived by her daughter Patsy Jenkins; grandchildren Jason Marlow, Jennifer (Rob) Alexander, Steven (Denise) Jenkins, James Marlow, Michael (Kristen) Jenkins, Leslie (Patrick) Sarcinella, Matthew (Beth) Jenkins, and Lindsey Jenkins; 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild on the way, siblings Manuel (Phyllis) Howard, Peggy Howard, and Patty Howard, sisters-in-law Mary Frazier and Carrie (Odie) Stanfield, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Phyllis married Buell in 1954. She worked at Inland and in home health care. She was very outgoing and loved to travel. She was the life of the party. "Hail hail the gang's all here." Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Tobias Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel. Interment will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens next to her son Doug.
