Herbert, Pamela (Frantz) 67, of Blacklick, OH passed away peacefully at home with family on January 2nd, 2021 after a recent cancer diagnosis. Pam was born on November 29th, 1953 in Columbus, OH to the late Donald and Lois (Schweitzer) Frantz. She graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in 1971 where she was a Highland Lassie. She went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree from Capital University in 1975, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Chi sorority. She also earned her Master's Degree in Communications from the University of Central Florida in Orlando the following year. Pam spent 42 years in the direct sales industry, including time at Tupperware International and The Longaberger Company, where she excelled as a sales leader and trainer to many. As well, she consistently gave back to her community as a volunteer to Special Olympics and mentor to Tri-Valley High School students. She retired in 2016, and then became a substitute teacher in the Gahanna-Lincoln school system, which brought her immeasurable joy over the last few years. As a dedicated mother of 3 boys, she also lived an incredibly full personal life. She was a loving mom, and passed on more traditions than any daughter-in-law can possibly keep up with! (daughter-in-law is writing this) Music was a passion that she attempted to pass down to her sons, enjoying playing her baby grand piano, but none of them bothered to learn to play, not having the patience for this stuff. Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael, and her nephew Brian Doll. She is survived by two sons, Chris Herbert, of Orlando, FL and Andy (Sarah) Herbert of Blacklick, the most loved grandsons, Michael, Patrick and Connor, siblings and their spouses Pete and Cathy Doll, Donald and Susan Frantz and Jeff and Stacy Frantz, and nieces and nephews. And always the countless numbers of her sons' friends to whom she will forever be Momma Herb! Her enthusiasm, smile, bright personality and positive energy impacted many throughout her life and will be dearly missed. Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 9th from 11:00 - 1:00 at Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick in the banquet room. A private family service will follow, per her wishes. Online condolences may be sent to www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, a donation is made in her name to a charity of their choice.
