Norma Jean Seaberg

Norma J. Seaberg(nee Chmiel), age 74, of Enon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, at home. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 21, 1947 to the late Henry and Kathleen (Werling) Chmiel. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen E. Seaberg, her sister, Carol Chmiel , and her brother, William Henry "Bill" Chmiel. Norma is survived by her children, Stephen (Rose) Seaberg, of Enon, Ohio, Rebecca (Wade) Wilson, of Cincinnati, Ohio, her sisters, Phyllis (Roger) James, of Kettering, Ohio, Ginny Settembrini, of Xenia, Ohio, Janet Chmiel, of Riverside, Ohio, her brothers, Steve (Jan) Chmiel, of Kettering, Ohio, Don (Jamie) Chmiel, of Lebanon, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Teressa "Terri" Chmiel, of Piqua, Ohio, one grandchild, Samantha Seaberg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Norma was a graduate of Carroll High School and the University of Dayton. She was a member of Mary, Help of Christians Parish. In her better years, Norma volunteered with the Society of St. Vincent DePaul and enjoyed gardening and quilting.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church with Father Ambrose T. Dobrozsi, presiding. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Max Roadruck, presiding.
