Nellie G. Pritchard

Pritchard ,Nellie Grey (Norman), age 93, passed away peacefully January 2, 2019, in her home with her family by her side. A long time resident of Kettering, Ohio, Nellie was born September 27, 1925 in Oneida, Tennessee, being the 7th of 10 children, to the late James Ransom and Alta Mae (Stockton) Norman. All of whom preceded her in death with the exception of one sister, Elsie (Norman) Strunk. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Elwin Archer Pritchard, her only son, Gregory Hugh Pritchard, Sr., and one grandchild, Jeffrey Shadoan. Nellie is survived by 1 sister, 3 children including her devoted daughter and caregiver, Anna Marie (Pritchard) Schultz, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren! Nellie was blessed to have had several dear friends throughout her lifetime, but the years that led to the end of her chapter, one in particular that stayed right by her side to the very end, Nancy M. Hurt. She also will be sorely missed by someone she viewed as her own, Tonya Hatfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall with Reverend Deb Holder officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday.
