Mildred "Midge" Bailey

Mildred “Midge” Bailey, age 88 of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Lloyd Baily, on October 22 of this year. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Evelyn Roberts, and four brothers: Kenneth, Billy, Harold and Ronny Roberts. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce (James) Bretz of Beavercreek, one grandson, James Loyd Bretz, two step-grandchildren: Greg (Kim) Bretz and Laura Kay (James) Hampton and three great grandchildren: Sidney, Dakota and Peyton. Two brothers also survive her: John and Danny Roberts, as does a sister, Maxine Gwin and several special nieces and nephews. Midge and Lloyd were founding members of the Pentecostal Apostolic Church and remained faithful attendees for 50 years. Midge was retired from Elder-Beerman following a 16 year career there. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 1-2 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432. The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday with Rev. Jeremy Matheny officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
