Michael Joseph Mercurio

January 30, 2022. Michael was a US Navy veteran and proudly served during WWII on the

USS Chemung and traveled around the world. He retired from Reliance Electric in Madison,

Indiana where he lived and worked for more than 50 years. Michael was a longtime member

of the VFW, America Legion and Moose Lodge in Madison. His friendships were many and two very

special ones were Pat Lathrem and Arlie Phillips. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and

loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma in July 1999, his parents, Philip and Edith

(Mazzolini) Mercurio, two sisters Katherine Ragan and Anna Courtney and one brother Philip

Mercurio. He is survived by his beloved son Michael Mercurio of LaVerkin, Utah, daughter Toni Dane

and her husband Daniel, his brother Joseph Mercurio, special nephew and friend Charles Kelly,

granddaughters Lydia and Sarah, three great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 10:00am, St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 E. 2nd Street, Dayton, OH 45402. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
