Mary Elizabeth Shackleton

SHACKLETON, Mary, age 88, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2011, surrounded by her loving family as she went to be with her LORD. She’s survived by her son, David Shackleton (Linda) of York, PA; daughters Jeanne Inama (Chuck) of Waterford, MI, Donna Bourget of Delafield, WI, and Loretta Van Norman (Harrell) of Beavercreek; 2 Sisters, Wilda Mendez of TX and Wilma Ciocan of MI; a brother-in-law, Frank McKinley of WY; a sister-in-law Eunice Gorton of WI; 11 grandchildren: Doug, Tamara, Matt, Nathan, Angela, Michelle, Marc, Rick, Aaron, Beth, and John; and 8 great-grandchildren. Mary was loved and adored by her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren, who’ll always remember the time she spent with them. She worshipped at Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene and served the LORD faithfully throughout her life. She was born in Beaver City, NE, and was preceded in her homegoing by her Husband, Gale in 1989, a Church of God Pastor, 2 sisters, a brother, and a grandson, Phillip. Visitation will be Thursday, October 6th, 6:00 to 8:30 pm and Friday, October 7th, 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd., followed by the funeral service on Friday, October 7th, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Keven Wentworth, Senior Pastor of the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be in Rochester Hills, MI, at the Christian Memorial Cemetery, on Saturday, October 8th at 12:00 pm.
