Linda Matthews, age 74, of Dayton, Ohio passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours of Friday, September 9, 2022. Linda was born March 27, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late James and Ida Mason.
She was an amazing artist and mother, and the embodiment of kindness and empathy. She will be remembered as a beautiful person and sensitive soul who loved animals, art, music and long walks. Linda held a deep appreciation for beauty and nature. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Vincent Matthews, their daughter Bronwen Owsley, and son-in-law Roger Owsley, sister Paula Emrich, along with brother's and sister's-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. Family to receive friends at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel 1:00PM Monday, September 19, 2022 with memorial service to follow at 2:00PM.
