Stepp, Lewis Ray, age 71, of Springboro, Ohio left this earth for heaven on January 5, 2018, and is now resting peacefully in the hands of God and the Angels. He was born in Clark Range, TN on November 25, 1946 to Edsel Ray and Rosa Lee (Sisco) Stepp, and moved to Dayton when he was a baby. Lewis graduated from Fairborn High School. He was retired from Jena Tool after 23 years of service, and had also worked at Harris Graphics and General Electric. He was preceded in death by his father, Edsel R. Stepp; brother, Gary L. Stepp; and brothers-in-law, Jack Hinkle and John Driskell; and by his beloved Schnauzer, Roxie. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 48 years, Mary K. Stepp; daughters, Angela M. Stepp and Jennifer L. Houchins; son, Zachary L. (Jenny) Stepp; grandchildren, Daniel Stepp, Megan (Chris) Hedrick, Nicholas Campbell, Joey Stepp, Hannah Houchins, Jordyn Stepp, Wyatt Stepp; great granddaughter, Zelda Hedrick; Mother, Rosa Lee Stepp; uncle, Willard Sisco; siblings, Janiene (Bill) Risley, Janice Driskell, and Judith Hinkle (Jeff Willis); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and by a very special friend and fishing buddy, Gary Phillips. Lewis loved spending time with his family and friends, 1960’s muscle cars, “The Blues” music, fishing and traveling. He was loved so very much by his family and everyone whose lives he touched. He will be missed always. Rest in peace my beloved. You will be in our hearts forever. Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave..
