Larry was preceded in death by his former wife of 52 years, Debra Charlene (Rose) Creech, in 2024. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Ann (Creech) Bowlin, and his brother, Jesse Michael Ray “Mike” Creech.
He is survived by his loving children, Larry L. Creech Jr. and Debbie M. (Creech) Limpach, and son-in-law Jeffrey Limpach; as well as his beloved grandsons, Greyson and Jesse Limpach, who were the light of his life.
Larry was a man defined by his work ethic and unwavering devotion to his family. Life was never easy, but he met every challenge head-on with grit and determination. He worked tirelessly to ensure his family had everything they needed—and often what they wanted too.
He took immense pride in his home, his lawn, and his vehicles, and had a special love for bluegrass music, especially attending the Kentucky Bluegrass Festival each year until he was no longer able. A true motorhead at heart, Larry loved muscle cars and racing, and had a gift for mechanics. Sometimes taking on side jobs fixing cars, he always found a way to support his loved ones.
Larry could be as tough as nails, but those who knew him best also knew his gentle side. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and deep devotion to family.
He will be missed more than words can say.
